General:
The HERCULIAN Boom is designed to be used in conjunction with the Lev-Co range of fume extractors for welding and grinding applications to the hose reels, swinging extension booms and/or hose droppers for diesel smoke and carbon monoxide gas extraction. This solution shall provide extreme coverage for large workshops with multiple users and/or applications.
Wall Bracket:
Wall bracket shall be manufactured from 10 mm steel and shall come complete with a plate suitable for mounting to any vertical surface.
Ball bearing mounted structural steel frame shall be the horizontal support mechanism to this solution. Crane shall be constructed of 100 x 60 x 4mm steel tubing. Crane shall be completely collapsible construction to allow solution to be folded tight against the wall and out of the way. Range of movement shall permit fumes to be extracted at all points below its maximum horizontal height when fully extended. Horizontal boom shall be configured in a 4m length for applications where the 4m Boom shall be used for welding/grinding and diesel or carbon monoxide extraction. A Lev-Co dual transport system shall be implemented on all horizontal booms, to avoid the mixing of airstreams from the various applications. (extreme safety hazard)
Hose:
Round in construction, made of flameproof, double skin, fiberglass reinforced, and flexible PVC fabric resistant to UV radiation. Maximum operating temperature; 70 degrees C.
