    The PCH-2 is a portable cartridge collector, ideal for medium and heavy-duty welding, grinding, cutting and other heavy dust producing applications.

    Rolled into position with the aid of 2 - large 8” diameter front wheels and 2 - 5” diameter locking rear casters, the PCH-2 easily navigates common obstacles found on the shop floor such as air hoses, extension cords, etc. The 2 foot wide “Push” handle, doubles nicely as a “Cord Caddy” for the 12Ga, 25’, safety yellow extension cord that comes standard with all 115/1/60 models.

    The HEAVY DUTY extraction arm is easily placed above or next to the emission source, hovering in place, allowing the fumes to be extracted at source before they contaminate they work environment or enter the operators breathing zone.

    Coming standard with a 10' EZ-Arm® high flow extractor (with damper), this unit is upgradeable to 14’ or 17’, single or dual extraction arms.     HYDROTRON Water Filter Dust Collectors purify air by a combination of centrifugal force and violent mixing of water and contaminated air. As the air stream passes the fixed baffles, particulate is separated by heavy, turbulent curtain of water created by high velocity air. The centrifugal force caused by the rapid changes in airflow direction forces the dust particles to penetrate the water droplets and become entrapped. Contaminated water is then removed from the airstream by special mist filters. Dust, as sludge, settles to the collector bottom and the water is reused.


    The HYDROTRON is specifically designed for safe collection of potentially explosive and volatile materials and is effective in the capture of fine metal particles. It meets the National Fire Protection Association guidelines for processing and finishing aluminum. Since the Hydrotron also meets OSHA and NFPA regulations for dust removal located inside buildings, it can recirculate in-plant, tempered air to conserve energy.

    LEV-CO’s Non-Tempered Air Make-Up Systems replaces exhausted air more efficiently and with more comfort than conventional Air Make-Up air systems. Ideal for production facilities that generate heat, for example welding shops where welding processes generate up to 450,000 BTU per hour per welder.



    TNon-Tempered units are grouped into 2 different types:

    A - 100% Outdoor Air: These units draw outside air and consist of a simple Axial fan, motorized inlet damper, Insulated cabinet and flow straightener.

    B - Modulating units – 0-100% Outdoor air: these units draw a variable amount of outside air from outside and when the internal temperature drops below the customer’s set point (EG: 70 degrees F) the THERMOSTAT controlled modulating air-mixing system allows air to be drawn from OUTSIDE or INSIDE in order to maintain desired indoor temperature. This solution is most often selected when the production level cannot be guaranteed or additional heat sources are not available.



    Both solutions are aided by custom engineered flame retardant fabric distribution ducting, where we able to take advantage of the STRATIFIED heat in ceiling, creating the equivalent of lowering a conventional thermostat by ½ degree F per foot of ceiling height or provide MAKE-UP without additional heat.



    This is accomplished by discharging the air in HIGH velocity air jets as close to the ceiling as possible. The result of the mixing is that the fresh air is heated to room temperature very quickly before it reaches the lower occupied area. This is extremely effective in welding shops where each welder can generate as much as 450,000 BTU per hour in heat.

    This “De-Stratifying” air distribution method has the added benefit of diluting and cooling any “Fugitive emissions/smoke” in the ceiling space and allows this air to be drawn down to floor level where it can be filtered and or exhausted by local exhaust ventilation systems.



    When no fresh air is needed, the system can be shut down and the outside air dampers will close automatically or the system can be run on one hundred percent (100%) re-circulated air.




    Conversely, if cooling air is required, “Bi-Flex” ducting can be selected (Optional). Bi-Flex ducting allows the air to continue to be exhausted into the ceiling space in the winter months AND then be re-directed downwards to the workers in summer months. This method leaves the bulk of the hot air in the ceiling space and places high velocity cooling air towards the worker. (The velocity shall not be high enough to disturb welding gases/processes).

    “In-Ground” AKA “In-Floor” systems are systems that use a duct located below the floor, often embedded in concrete.


    Considered “old school” by some, IN-GROUND systems will always have a place when selecting a vehicle exhaust solution.

    The Simple Hose Drop (SHD) System has the same components as the Sliding Balancer Track (SBT) System, without the track. If the vehicle leaves the fire house on an emergency run, the MagneGrip nozzle remains connected until the hose and cable are fully extended and then it automatically releases.




    Because the system captures and removes exhaust emissions at start-up and until the nozzle disconnects, it eliminates the heaviest concentration of exhaust gases and particulates.




    For tight budgets, installing a Simple Hose Drop System is less expensive than a track system. It is a good option for vehicles that may be started every day, but are not used regularly for emergency runs. Later, if needs change, a track can be installed and the system converted to provide door-to-door coverage.
